"Tatev scientific-educational complex" and "Zangak 97" publishing house announce a competition of literary and popular scientific works in the Republic of Armenia.
The competition is carried out within the scope of initiatives and projects aimed at enlivening the spiritual-cultural life of our reality, implemented by "Zangak 97" publishing house and "Tatev scientific educational complex". Within the scope of those projects for enlivening the cultural life in regions, along with other events, in the regions of Syuniq, Gegharkuniq and Tavoush in September and October there will also be organized creative meetings and seminars with the local writers.

There are no genre limitations in the competition, both fiction and potry can be presented.
The authors living in regions should submit their works to the regional administrations of education and culture and in Yerevan city to "Tatev scientific-educational complex" at Komitas 49/2. The works should be as electronic files with an additional hard copy. Each author can submit up to three works. Deadline for application is October 1, 2004.
The thirty three authors from the regions and Yerevan that will be selected as finalists by the competition committee as an encouraging prize will receive the best books published by "Zangak 97" publishing house (to a total value of $50-100), and the authors of top three selected works will also receive financial prizes.
The thirty three selected works will be then published in a separate volume, where besides the works will also be put the photos and brief biographies of the authors. "Zangak 97" publishing house will later on cooperate with promising authors.
